The World Of Hans Zimmer - A New Dimension

The internationally acclaimed hit tour returns to Europe from spring 2027.

The music of Hans Zimmer is epic, emotional, cinematic, innovative, and deeply narrative. It transcends traditional film scores – it is a full sensory experience.

As musical director and curator, Hans Zimmer is personally responsible for the concert series The World of Hans Zimmer. Even though the maestro does not perform on stage himself, the show is a world-class highlight and an absolute treat for fans. Before the internationally successful tour Hans Zimmer Live – A New Dimension returns to Europe’s largest arenas in October 2026, additional dates for spring 2027 have already been announced. In Austria, the tour will also stop at the Wiener Stadthalle on April 15, 2027.

Audiences embark on an emotional journey through 40 years of the legendary composer’s most significant works – presented in a unique and breathtaking setting. Zimmer’s unmistakable orchestral suites – newly arranged exclusively for this production – merge with stunning visual projections, powerful sound design, and moving solo performances to create an unforgettable live experience.

Hans Zimmer explains:
“What distinguishes ‘The World of Hans Zimmer’ from ‘Hans Zimmer Live’ is that it reflects much more of my romantic side – the romantic pieces I’ve written. It focuses more on my orchestral works and on the soloists I’ve performed with. I wanted to take a step back and give the musicians complete freedom to entertain the audience and showcase how brilliant they are.”

Multi–Grammy®-nominated Matt Dunkley will bring the magic of Zimmer’s works to the stage from autumn 2026 onward, together with top soloists from Hans Zimmer’s talent pool, the renowned Odesa Orchestra & Friends, and the exceptional Nairobi Chamber Chorus. Dunkley is considered one of the world’s leading orchestrators, arrangers, and conductors. His impressive career is closely linked to the world of film and marked by a long-standing collaboration with Hans Zimmer.

Since the premiere of the predecessor concert series The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration in Germany in 2018, the production has evolved into the internationally celebrated concert series “The World of Hans Zimmer,” which has thrilled more than 2 million visitors worldwide to date.

Since ten years (opening in 2002) Austria's most modern city convention center, Stadthalle Graz, has been setting new accents in the Styrian capital, Graz. It was designed and completed by the internationally well-known architect, Klaus Kada. Stadthalle Graz is now considered the landmark of Graz, because of its ambitious and enterprising architecture.

An area of 6,500 sqm without pillars; completely equipped with air-conditioning and the latest technology for exhibitions or exhibition fairs it is possible to extend the area to about 14,000 sqm.

Open-Air Effect:

Below a spectacular roof construction an architectural room concept unfolds and opens in all directions and not only because of the glass façades. With the turning and sliding doors it is possible to open half of the space of the hall so that the interior and exterior spaces are completely merged. Thus, the outdoor ground of the fair is integrated with the indoor area and results in an open-air-effect that is unique in all of Europe.
