Martha Argerich concludes her series as the Musikverein's featured artist with a chamber music concert on February 16. Together with violinist Janine Jansen and cellist Mischa Maisky, the exceptional pianist will perform works by Beethoven in the Golden Hall, including the famous “Ghost Trio.“ The work owes its nickname to Carl Czerny, who heard the ghost from Shakespeare's “Hamlet“ appear in the second movement. Whether ghostly or simply enchanting, a captivating interpretation is guaranteed at the Musikverein.
