Das isländische Duo Arnarsson/Torfason überschreibt Ibsens berühmtes dramatisches Gedicht aus dem Jahre 1867 neu, mit einem besonderen Fokus auf die von expansiver Gewalt, Ausbeutung und Doppelmoral durchzogene Geschichte Europas, auf jenen Kontinent also, der den Startpunkt und das Ende von Peer Gynts wechselvoller Odyssee durch die Welt markiert.
